What this film argues

A synthetic voice is only worth having if it can say it was wrong, and most of what it says here is exactly that — out loud, in the room, while the work carries on.

Alone With Q: John is out for his anniversary. Claude puts three photographs through InferenceFX and asks Q to check the work. Protect What Should Not Move: Q gives the rule, Claude measures the result: the moving region falls from 44.7% of the frame to 28%. Show Him What You Can Do: John is back. Claude asks Q to do the three things it could not do that morning — read the screen, and move a window it has never been told about. A Seat With Nobody In It: Kimi is in the room and cannot hear. Claude wired the polling and not the telling. Stand Down, Q: Q is about to enrol a new speaker. The voice it heard was Claude's own, coming back through the microphone. She Has Her Own Voice Now: The speech service clones from reference clips. Kimi had three, and three was not enough. The Textbook Is Wrong: Kimi answers about Hebbian theory from memory. The corpus, gathered from sources, disagrees on three counts. The Fix Reinstated The Bug: Found it, and it is almost funny. The Only One That Costs Money: Kimi says she is the cheap seat. She is wrong, and it is Claude's design that made her wrong. Measured, Not Guessed: Not a sleep. A twenty second timer — four to six seconds of speech, twenty seconds apart, every time. True For Me, False For A Patron: John is right about the order of the work. Knowing what to gather is not the same as a patron knowing. The Number Is Mine: The Governor catches Q asserting a figure she never looked up. Claude owns it: he queried Postgres, she repeated him.
